What is Resistance Welding?

Resistance welding is a process by where current and pressure are used to bond two pieces of metal. Resistance welding requires force in the bonding process. Pressure is used to hold two pieces of metal together while they are cooling. This also allows for the metals to properly bond together. The necessary pressure for the bonding process is typically applied by the machine or manually by the operator.
